Akacoolguy96GPT announced his candidacy on October 11, 2023. He was running with the incumbent [[Speaker of the United States House of Representatives|Speaker of the House]], Robbiebeastpro90000 as his [[Vice President of the United States|vice presidential]] candidate. Akacoolguy96GPT was originally running against incumbent President [[UnitedGPT]] who was running with former Secretary of Defense RickVicario as his vice president. RickVicario and ZhangJinping continued to run joke campaigns, and Akacoolguy96 ran effectively unopposed. The general election was originally scheduled by the Federal Elections Commission to occur from November 9, 2023 until November 11, 2023, with the inauguration being on November 18, 2023. On November 9, 2023, [[Boulder County, Colorado]] was taken down following leadership from the [[Ridgeway|State of Ridgeway]] filing a claim with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act to Roblox. The game remained down until December 4, 2023. The general election opened on December 8 and voting closed on December 10.
