== The Supreme Court Bar == The Supreme Court Bar is the highest level of legal practice an attorney participate in. Being a member of the bar is considered a very prestigious recognition. Those who have been admitted are known to have a high level of legal knowledge, far superiror to others within the nation. Along with the membership and title, members of the Supreme Court Bar are provided the following privileges: * Permitted to file amicus briefs in ongoing cases in the Supreme Court. * Authorized to represent parties in cases before the Supreme Court (the Attorney General and Solicitor General are admitted autonomously for this reason). * Allowed to practice in any court in the United States. Although there are significant benefits affixed to being a member of the bar, there are also serious repercussions fo rmisconduct. Being disbarred from the Bar of the Supreme Court also disqualifies you from practicing in the lower courts. Suspension from the bar will, no matter for how long, disqualify said barred individual from all courts until the suspension is lifted. As of November 10, 2023, there are 39 members of the Supreme Court Bar. [[Category:United States Government]]
