===Military Commissions & NCO Positions=== Leroux has been very vocal about retention within USM, citing the lack of a developed enlisted corps and NCO leadership not being established as the primary reason for enlisted turnover. He has held positions on the Joint Staff, and has been most notably recognized having served as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Chairman in recent times. Prior to this, he was most known for his work within the U.S. Air Force. Leroux has served multiple times as Chief of Staff of the Air Force, with the oldest tenure stretching back to 2014 having succeeded Needysweet1. He was also known to be Chief of the National Guard Bureau twice, both times donning the rank of General as an Airman holding the position. Aside from just Joint Chiefs of Staff service, he has previously served as the Senior Military Advisor to the Secretary of Defense (SMASD) advising on combined-arms policy and liaising with the U.S. Department of State. Then of course he was detailed for service in multiple tenures as a Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to advise on policy matters or assist with duties on an as-needed basis while holding commission in other roles.
