The Colorado State Capitol, located at 100 4th Avenue, in Canton, Colorado, United States, is the home of the Colorado General Assembly and the office of the Governor of Colorado.

The Colorado State Capitol was constructed in 2022, with the rest of Canton. It remained vacant until the election of the first Colorado General Assembly and the first Governor of Colorado in August, 2023.

Building[edit | edit source]

Interior[edit | edit source]

The immediate interior of the Capitol is the lobby, which is used as a voting area in elections. The north wing consists of the General Assembly Chambers and the state press briefing room. The south wing consists of the Governor's office and a courthouse.

Grounds[edit | edit source]

Immediately outside the Capitol, directly across the street to the east, is a park, consisting of several trees and a fountain in the center with a statue.
